The wheel-strategy log that finally tells you your real APY per ticker

Sell a CSP, get assigned, sell the call, repeat. WheelLogger captures every leg, computes annualized return per ticker, and surfaces 50%-rule and 21-DTE roll candidates from your own past trades — all on your device.

Sound familiar?

  • Generic trade journals like Tradervue treat a wheel cycle as four unrelated trades, so your annualized return per ticker is invisible
  • OptionStrat is a pricing visualizer, not a journal — there is no way to see whether your AAPL wheel actually beat just holding 100 shares
  • Spreadsheet wheel trackers fall apart at the third assignment / called-away cycle and you stop logging
  • You miss the 50%-profit roll window because nothing flags which open legs have already decayed
  • Most options apps shove iron condors, 0DTE, and PMCC UI in your face — there is no clean home for plain-vanilla CSP and CC traders

A focused wheel-strategy log: install, log a leg, get APY

WheelLogger is a single-purpose tracker you install once and use daily. Add each CSP or covered call leg with strike, expiry, premium, and capital deployed. The app builds the ticker timeline (CSP → assigned → CC → called away → repeat), computes annualized return per ticker, and highlights legs that hit deterministic roll triggers from your own data. We ship the result — your APY — not the tool that makes you compute it.

  1. 1

    1. Install on iOS, Android, or web

Download from the App Store, Google Play, or open wheel-strategy-report.yoritech.com in a browser. No broker OAuth, no account required to start.

  2. 2

    2. Log a leg in seconds

Tap +CSP or +CC, fill ticker / strike / expiry / premium / capital. DTE auto-calculates. Works offline; data stays on device.

  3. 3

    3. See the ticker timeline + APY assemble

Each ticker gets a state machine (CSP → assigned → CC → expired / called away / rolled) and an annualized return that updates with every new leg.

  4. 4

    4. Read deterministic roll banners

50%-rule, 21-DTE, and Δ-ITM probe banners are computed by pure functions from your past legs. No LLM guesses, no signal subscriptions.

Why WheelLogger and not a generic options app

Wheel-strategy-only UI (CSP and CC, nothing else)Tradervue, OptionStrat, and tastytrade ship spreads, iron condors, 0DTE, and PMCC modules that get in the way
Annualized return per ticker, not per tradeGeneric journals show P&L per leg but never roll up CSP+assigned+CC into a single ticker APY
Deterministic roll alerts (50%-rule / 21 DTE / Δ-ITM probe)Most apps either skip roll guidance entirely or hide it behind paid signal subscriptions

Frequently asked questions

Q. Where can I get WheelLogger?
iOS via the App Store, Android via Google Play, and a browser-based version at wheel-strategy-report.yoritech.com. The same account syncs across them when you sign in (optional).
Q. Do I have to connect my brokerage?
No. WheelLogger is local-first by design — there is no Robinhood / Schwab / IBKR OAuth and we do not pull positions. You enter each leg manually (or paste a CSV), and your trades stay on your device.
Q. How is this different from Tradervue or OptionStrat?
Tradervue is a generic trade journal across every options strategy. OptionStrat is a pricing and payoff-graph tool. Neither rolls a CSP → assignment → CC → called-away cycle into a single ticker timeline with annualized return. WheelLogger does only that, and nothing else.
Q. What does the roll alert actually do?
It runs three deterministic checks against your open legs: premium decayed by 50% or more, expiration within 21 days, and the underlying probing your strike (Δ-based ITM probe). When any rule fires, the leg gets a banner with the reason and the math — no opinions, no signals.
Q. Is this investment advice?
No. WheelLogger is a record-keeping and analytics tool. It computes annualized return, premium history, and rule-based roll candidates from your own past legs. Final decisions are yours — please consult a licensed advisor for advice.
Q. Will it support iron condors, spreads, or 0DTE?
No. Wheel-strategy-only is a deliberate constraint. Other strategies belong in other apps; we will not clutter the UI with them.
Q. How is my data handled?
By default, every leg is stored locally on your device (SQLite). If you opt into optional iCloud / Google sync, the encrypted database is replicated to your own cloud account — never to our servers. You can delete everything from Settings at any time.
Q. Can I cancel the subscription?
Yes — manage and cancel from your App Store / Google Play subscription settings (or Stripe billing portal on web). After cancellation you keep all logged data and drop back to the Free tier.
