Log every print. See your real success rate. Never run out of filament.

PrintJobLog is a phone-first logbook for hobbyist 3D printers. Track FDM and resin prints across any brand, manage spool inventory, and get nozzle/FEP maintenance reminders — without OctoPrint or any printer-side setup.

Sound familiar?

  • OctoPrint and Obico require a Raspberry Pi tethered to a single FDM printer — too heavy for hobby use.
  • I run a Bambu A1 and a Prusa MK4 (and a resin Photon). Vendor apps don't compare across brands.
  • When a print fails I never write down why. Same warping, same stringing, every month.
  • I keep buying more filament because I can't tell what I already have stacked in the closet.
  • I forget when I last changed the nozzle or the FEP film, and quality slowly degrades.

One logbook for every printer in your workshop

PrintJobLog is a self-serve mobile app you install and use on your phone. Log a print in 10 seconds, and the app rolls up monthly success rates, tracks spool stock, and reminds you when consumables are due — using simple deterministic rules, not AI hype.

  1. 1

    Install and open the app

Download from the App Store or Google Play. No account, no Raspberry Pi, no printer-side software. Just open and start logging.

  2. 2

    Log a print

Pick the printer, filament, and result (success / partial / failure). Add a photo and a failure tag if needed. ~10 seconds per print.

  3. 3

    See your stats

Per-printer monthly success rate, filament grams consumed by material, and top failure causes — all calculated from your own logs.

  4. 4

    Track your spools

Brand, material, color, remaining grams. Low-stock warnings when a spool drops below your threshold.

  5. 5

    Get maintenance reminders

Cumulative print hours per nozzle, belt, bed, and FEP film. Push notifications when a part is due for replacement.

A logbook that delivers a real success rate, not a remote-control server

Frequently asked questions

Q. Which printers are supported?
Hardware-agnostic. Bambu Lab (A1, P1S, X1C), Prusa (MK3, MK4, XL, Mini), Creality (K1, Ender, CR), Anycubic (Kobra FDM, Photon resin), Elegoo Saturn / Mars, Phrozen, Voron, Voxelab — if you can name the model, you can log it.
Q. Do I need to install anything on my printer?
No. PrintJobLog is a logbook app that runs on your phone. You log results manually after each print. There is no Raspberry Pi, no OctoPrint, no Klipper plugin, and no printer-side software to set up.
Q. How is this different from OctoPrint or Obico?
OctoPrint and Obico are remote-control servers running on a Raspberry Pi tethered to a single FDM printer. PrintJobLog is a hardware-agnostic logbook for hobbyists with multiple printers (including resin) who want analytics, inventory, and maintenance reminders — not remote control.
Q. Does it work for resin printers?
Yes. FEP film cumulative exposure tracking is built in for Anycubic Photon, Elegoo Mars / Saturn, Phrozen, and Creality Halot owners.
Q. Does it use AI?
No. All stats — success rate, filament consumption, maintenance thresholds — are computed with simple deterministic rules (counts, sums, threshold checks). We do not use AI to make these calculations and we do not market the app as AI-powered.
Q. Can I export my data?
Yes. CSV export is available on Pro Annual and Lifetime plans. Your data is yours — no lock-in.
Q. Is there a free trial?
The Free tier gives you 30 logs per month, forever. No credit card required.
Q. Can I share my stats with my maker community?
Pro plans include an optional public profile URL you can share on r/3Dprinting, r/resinprinting, or your Discord server.
Q. When is it launching?
We are currently building the iOS and Android apps. Join the waitlist to be notified when the App Store and Google Play listings go live, and to grab the early-bird Lifetime price.
