Sound familiar?
- ✗Pavemetrics LRMS trucks cost $300K+ — out of reach for solo and 5–50 person consultancies bidding on $30–150K small-municipality contracts.
- ✗Manual ASTM D6433 distress mapping and PCI math takes days per mile and is hard to defend in a deliverable.
- ✗Smartphone and dashcam footage doesn't produce ASTM-compliant outputs without a custom CV pipeline.
- ✗RoadBotics-style scoring tools don't generate the PMS-ready CSV and branded PDF that municipalities actually require.
- ✗Vialytics and similar EU/DACH tools don't handle ASTM D6433 + AASHTO PP44 deliverables for US/UK/AU markets.
Outcome-based ASTM D6433 PCI deliverables, not another scoring tool.
You drive the road once with a smartphone or dashcam. We hand back the deliverable your client signs.

Frequently asked questions
- Q. Is the output actually ASTM D6433 compliant?
- Yes. Distress types, severities, and PCI deduct values follow ASTM D6433-20. We provide the deduct curves and methodology in an appendix you can defend to a municipal client.
- Q. What footage formats do you accept?
- Standard MP4/MOV from smartphones, dashcams, or GoPros. We recommend 1080p+ at 30fps with steady forward-facing mounting. We'll review your test clip before onboarding.
- Q. How accurate is detection vs. an LCMS truck?
- For surface distress types covered by ASTM D6433, our smartphone-based detection has matched LCMS-graded segments within ±1 PCI on our internal benchmark roads. Sub-surface (IRI, rutting via laser) is out of scope and we'll tell you when it matters.
- Q. Can we use this on bid submissions and audited reports?
- That's exactly what it's built for. Pro and Multi-jurisdiction plans produce branded PDFs designed for inclusion in municipal RFP responses.
- Q. Do you support AASHTO PP44 in addition to ASTM D6433?
- Yes — Pro and above include the AASHTO PP44 cross-walk for jurisdictions that prefer that framework.
- Q. What about data privacy for municipal footage?
- Footage is stored encrypted, single-tenant per consultancy, and deleted on request. We do not train shared models on your data without written consent.
- Q. Do you offer pay-per-mile for one-off projects?
- Yes — contact us for one-off project pricing if your firm doesn't need a monthly subscription yet.
